Abstract Background There have been several studies carried out to irradiate Helminthiasis however very little research where in the enzymatic activity of plants are exploited antagonize infections. Here we analyzing anthelmintic Cinnamomum cappara leaf extract against Pheretima posthuma complimented by proteolytic action. Results The fresh leaves was collected from local areas Thrissur during December 2019. Plants were identified and authenticated morphological molecular characterization. action analyzed plotting Lineweaver–Burk plot which suggested that possess Km 185.77 ?M for casein as substrate obeyed Michaelis–Menten kinetics with typical hyperbolic relation enzyme increasing concentration substrate. effect upon study subject directly proportional antagonist higher activities obtained high concentrations. anatomical histological due degradation muscular bundle resulted leakage ceolomic fluid. Conclusions possessed degree protease intervened posthuma. As show immense physiological resemblance all other helminthic parasites, this results shall be adopted further clinical pharmacological applications.
